Ipod touch disabled

Hi,

My niece has disabled my daughters Ipod touch by entering the wrong passcode too many times.

It is asking me to log into itunes, and from what I can see online it is going to do a master reset. I am a bit concerned it will delete everything on her ipod?

She has pictures and videos on there that I dont want to loose and I am not 100% certain if she has the icloud switched on. When I check online it says its logged in but I am unable to find or restore anything from it?

We do know the passcode, is there any other away around of unlocking it without resetting the ipod?

Any advise is appreciated!

iPod, iOS 11

Sorry at this point you need to restore the ipod to factory setting using recovery mode.

There is no saving data now, backing to icloud or itunes should be done on a regular basis, not sure if there is icloud photo for an ipod, but once it restore she can sign in with her icloud info and see what will sync back.
