My Apple Music does not shuffle even though i press shuffle

my apple music does not shuffle even though i press shuffle. i have to physically press next or the song repeats. this is becoming super frustrating and i have researched and tried different ways to try and fix it...

Close the music app and launch it again to see if it refreshes.

or force restart your device.

Update your iOS (if you haven’t t already done so)
