How do I remove downloads from my entire Apple Music library all at once?

How do I remove downloads from my entire apple music library all at once? I can see that when you open the settings app and click music theres a section titled "downloaded music." If you click that from there, there is an edit button that gives you the option to remove all songs. I am just wanting to double check that if I do this action that only my downloads will be removed and not all the songs from my music library. Thanks!

Deleting downloaded music will delete the corresponding files on your device, but the Apple Music tracks will stay listed in your iCloud Music Library and playlists.

Make sure automatic downloads is off, as that is opposite of what you want.
