Backing up HDD to other HDD on MacOS

Hi!

I have a low memory MacBook Pro, so I keep all my work as a photographer on a 1TB HDD. I want to back up the data on this to another HDD I have (this one 2TB) in case of any theft/damage to my main storage device. Now I know this would probably be easy to accomplish on Time Machine, but the problem is I use NTFS filing so that my work is cross compatible with Windows computers, should I ever need to use one for my work.

Can anyone recommend some software I can use to back up one external hard drive to another?
