Password Sharing on Family Accounts

Hello!

i have set my two children up on a family account under my iCloud account (each has their own iCloud ID now); however, I notice that all of my banking passwords etc. Have populated into their phones! Yikes! I’m a bit of a noob at this, how do I stop them from having access to my passwords?

Thank you!

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 12

Your explanation is a bit confusing. If they have their own iCloud ID, how exactly did you set them up under yours. Its either one or the other. It can't be both.

If your iCloud account is logged into their devices, then yes, you would be sharing all your passwords, messages, contacts and loads of other data.

Make sure their iCloud Account is logged into their own devices not yours, under Settings->Account(top of settings).

They each have their own Apple ID. They are part of your Family Group, but they are not under your own account.

They are entirely separate accounts. Just underage accounts. They don't have any real ties to your account.

You need to make entirely sure, that their own devices are signed in with their accounts to each of the services, and not using your account for anything on their devices.

If your account is logged in to iCloud on their devices, then your content is shared and synced to their devices.

I think what you mean is that you set up Family Sharing and you are the organizer.

If you set each child up with their own Apple ID, they have to be signed into the ID in iCloud, iTunes and the App Store, FaceTime and messages if you are letting them use those services.

On each child’s device, go to Settings>Their Name (the setting at the very top on the left side) which should show what Apple ID they are signed into in iCloud. Also go to Settings>iTunes and App Store and make sure that are signed into their own ID’s there. You can do the same for FaceTime and Messages.
