Apple Watch 2 needs re pairing

my I watch 2 is saying too many passcode attempts are set apple I watch and paid again but it’s already in paired on my I phone X

Too many passcode attempts means the wrong passcode has been entered too many times in succession, and the device is locked for security. You need to reset the watch and set a new passcode, please see If you forgot your Apple Watch passcode - Apple Support
