How to split keyboard on my iPad mini 2 (latest iOS 12.3.1 update) and keep it below on the dock when I use it in Pages ?
The options on the down right corner only : undock / split ---- and when i choose split it always move up (undocked) --- and again, when I use this :
, then immediately drag the keyboard up or down the screen.---> it always merged again every time it touches the dock below.

That’s not an answer to the question asked. He wants the keyboard split AND docked. I’ve managed to make that happen in the past, but I forgot how, which brings me here.
I found out how to do it. With the keyboard docked, touch the middle of the keyboard with two fingers and pull to opposite sides. It’ll split and remain docked. Also, if you’re on an iPad Pro and want the split keyboard (more useful here than on any other iPad, imo), you can go to settings and change your view to Zoomed. You lose a little real estate, but it’s a price to pay for this wonderful split keyboard.
