IPhone dropped in water
My iPhone 6 or SE was dropped in water. How can I save it?? I have already dried it off, turned it off and it is currently in a sealed baggie with silica gel.
iPhone SE, iOS 12

Leave it dry for several days before turning on, also do not power up the phone, because it might cause a short circuit inside the phone, but my best advice is to take rice and silica gel and put them in a bag, and put some where dry, if it doesn't power on, that means the transistor inside the phone has corroded. Also phone's won't die in water, is short circuit and corrosion that can kill a phone.
Make an appointment at the genius bar. Liquid damage is not considered repairable. The phone will have to be replaced.
Rice doesn't help. If there is a short circuit, rice will not fix that haha.

You did read where they did both of those things already? And there is no reason to use both rice and silica gel packets. Transistor? And yes, phones will die in water.
