What should I do to get the battery life running well?

Since i was upgrade my IOS to 12.3.1 this message always appears and yes my battery life decreased than i used before ios 12.3.1. I have changed the settings for making my phone running well like as turning off rise to wake, turning off background app refresh, and etc. so what should i do to get the battery life running well ?
