Phone got washed, what do I do?

Someone accidentally took my swim parka with my iPhone in it and without knowing WASHED IT.... the phone was dried , put into rice and dried a little on sun BUT WE HAVE NOT POWERED ON YET. Any suggestions what I can do before i try powering on?

Damaged iPhone From my wife re her iPhone, not my own iPhoneSE, which is fine: I have a water-damaged iphone that will no longer fully turn on. The initial apple logo screen appears then it turn off, then after 5 seconds turns back on to the logo screen. It will not fully turn on. Water damaged phone I had an accident where I put my phone to the washing machine for around 10 minutes. By mistake I turned it on when it was still wet and now it won't turn on. Is there any chance of recovering pictures without icloud? That's all I need.

Call your local Apple Store and make an appointment for them to examine it. Afterwards they will tell you your alternatives.
