Airpods Call Audio

My airpod call audio will only come out of the right ear. When i put the left one in my ear with the right one it only comes out of the right. When I only put in the left one and leave the right one in the case, the audio drops for a second then goes back on my phone. I've looked through all my settings and stuff but haven't found anything. Music and other audio plays through both airpods but only on calls it only plays through one ear. Any suggestions?
