How can I get back my data from the Macintosh HD Data location and the Previous Content folder?

I just recovered my Mac today with the "internet recovery" option and it made an other portion of my hard drive. It named it Macintosh HD Data but I can't find it in the finder app. I used some other apps to see the content and I found a folder called "Previous Content" which has all my data. How can I get back them?

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.14

It has a mount point as shown in the previous image from Disk Utility. Try using this path instead: /Volumes/Macintosh HD - Data.

Click on the Desktop then select Preferences from the Finder menu. In the preferences window click on the General button. Check all four boxes as shown below:

Do you find a Macintosh HD - Data disk icon on the Desktop? If so, then double click on it to open a Finder window from which you should be able to find your files.

Don't launch CMM, don't even think about it. It may well be the source of your problems. The app is notorious for overly aggressive file cleaning, including important system files.

The best course of action is to uninstall it as per the developer's instructions and then restore your Mac from a Time Machine backup that pre-dates CMM.

If you don't have a TM back then backup what you have now and restore again after uninstalling CMM.

This is what I see when I open the Finder

But if I launch an app called CleanMyMac...

I had this option

There's the folder which I want to recover.

I just restarted the Mac and hold down Command+Option+R and it started the internet recovery. It set up a new profile but the disk still have all my files that I can't get back.

I hope that is helpful :)
