My wife's i phone which we have same iCloud account , had been called three times from 1-800-275-2273 , stated my iCloud account had suspicious activity . In general if there is problem ,that phone number listed above, would be true number we would receive call, if there is suspicious activity ?

To answer your question, Apple will never call you unless you are either on a call with them that gets disconnected and they are trying to call back, or you have arranged a tech support call-back through their website. In other words, regardless of anything (suspicious activity or otherwise) Apple is never going to call you out of the blue. If there is suspicious activity they will disable your account and it will be up to you to call them in order to straighten things out.

Such calls are scams from criminals trying to steal your personal and financial information. They use phone number spoofing to pretend to be legitimate callers.
