iMessages Auto-Opens Messages From one Contact

My iMessages app has recently failed to notify me, make a sound, show a badge, banner, or lock screen notification whenever I get a text from only one of my contacts. All of my other contacts works normally and notifies me just great (That I know of). I have tried everything that I can think of including:

• Changing “Hide Alerts” from the contact in iMessages
• Restoring iPhone XS Max to how it was out of the box
• Signing out of iCloud and signing back in
• Turning iMessages off, then back on
• Deleting the contact, then adding it back

I am not sure what to do at this point.
