i had iphone 8+ i made a backup for it before i sold it
and bought an iphone xr
when i tried t restore my bqckup it said to old softwear and the ios 12.3.2 is still not available
what can i do now to get my data back

I had the same problem trying to restore a new xr with my iPhone 8+ backup from iTunes. I contacted apple as the software might be up to date on both devices ios12.3.2 on iPhone 8+ and ios12.3.1 on the xr when I tried to restore iTunes was telling me the software needed to be updated and they are showing up as not compatible all I could do was backup via iCloud so I didn’t lose everything
I would contact Apple Support, use the link at the top of the page here, and ask for help. Not sure how that would get resolved.

12.3.2 is only for some iPhone 8 devices and can't be used on your XR device.
so do i loose all my data now
Any solution? Or wait 12.4?
The official solution is to wait until 12.4 is released on both devices. A lot of people have this problem atm.
