Can’t connect to the WiFi

My iPhone XR won’t let me connect to WiFi. I can only use my data. When I go to my settings or slide my screen down to try and connect it won’t even let me press the button. At first when I restarted my phone it would connect back to the WiFi, but when I tried again I still couldn’t connect. And I was on the WiFi before but my phone kept disconnecting but itself
