FCPX stabilization question

I want the stabilization to look exactly as shown in this video. How is this achieved?

The video in the link above was something I produced, from FCPX - I used the stabilization feature and left everything as default. When I first saw the 'new' look I thought it must have been an update - I thought there was a different stabilization algorithm or more settings available.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to reproduce this. Instead I get the usual, highly cropped, version of stabilization (that I'm familiar with from FCPX). I can uncrop at the expense of more jiggles. Yes, I know how this works - please don't explain or lecture on how stabilization works. I get that. My question is above (first two sentences).
