iPad keyboard stopped working

My iPad Pro 10.5 keyboard has suddenly stopped working following the most recent software upgrade (12.3.1). One time the “accessory not supported” popped up, but have not seen it since. I have followed all the reboot and reset recommendations, all to no effect. The iPad is less than two years old and incredibly less useful with out keyboard access. So, what’s up here?

Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar, taking the keyboard and iPad with you. You may find Apple simply replaces the keyboard for you.
