iMessage green for 1 user

Okay when I send an iMessage to anyone in my phone, the message is blue and delivered normally. Except my ex, messages to her are green. She has an iPhone and when I send messages to her from my work phone it’s blue. Why would this happen? She says she hasn’t changed her settings? 🤷‍♂️

iMessage isn't working for one particular person I know there have been quite a lot of posts about this problem, but I couldn't find any that were exactly like mine. All the other ones have something about the text messages being green, but mine are still blue. My iMessages with said person have been completely fine for at least a year before I found out that my messages weren't being delivered, but the messages were still the same blue as when you send a message to another iPhone user. If I remember correctly, he can receive my messages, but if he sends one to me nothing shows up. Because iMessage doesn't work anymore, we've had to use other apps, like social media, to keep conversing. But I'm not gonna lie, it's really annoying, so if any of you know ANY possible solution, I would greatly appreciate it. If you need any questions answered then ask away.

iMessage reply’s are gray not blue or green When my partner sends a text to my iPhone XR from his very old iPhone SE (1st Gen?) they are always in the color gray, rather than blue. What would cause this?

Why are some messages blue and some green when both users use a Apple device? My friend has a iPhone 13. However his phone broke and has gotten a replacement. The replacement is the exact same phone but now when I text him the messages are green.

That means she is an area with a weak wifi or cellular data signal or your imessage is turned off, the issue isn't on your side, since you have no issue sending imessage to the rest of your contacts.
