Card Payments declined

ive made online payments from my card before then recently I discovered I wasn’t able to anymore because it was declined. I tried my other one same problem occurred. I called the card number for both for help they said nothing was wrong with my card on their end. I can make purchases with my card when physically using the card. Is there a reason why my iCloud isn’t letting me use my cards ?
