Text messages

I have my text forwArded to my iPad, be iMessage or SMS I still get then on my iPad when my phone is on WiFi. But I noticed if I change WiFi’s at work I still get my messages... Does this mean I could leave my phone at home and still get my text messages ?

Theoretically yes, as long as both devices are connected to Wifi at the same time.
