Series 2 watch glitching

Touch screen unresponsive until I use side button. Then the watch does its own thing, zooming in and out, switching between apps, even answering phone calls. It is now a liability and unusable. I have disconnected and reconnected three times with no change. Please help!

Reset your watch by pressing in the crown and side button until you see the Apple logo, then release both .
