I am curios to know what is the interest of apple users in having the ability to remove the messages app completely from applewatch? It would be great if Apple would let the user decide if she/he wants to have text messages delivered on the apple watch. I personally find it irritating having to delete text messages twice, once on my phone, and again on my apple watch.

That is not possible at this time.
The Apple World Wide Developers Conference has indicated user will be able to remote default apps from the Apple Watch. But you will have to wait until this Fall/early Winter when watchOS 6 is released, assuming they do not pull that features between now and then.

There is no problem. That’s the way it currently works. Post your feedback to Apple for them to change your requested feature
There is no need to delete the messages from your watch. This will happen automatically as new messages are added.
The premise of the question is that the user does not want messages/texts on her/his apple watch at all. All users are forced to have texts on the apple watch by default, with no other alternative, hence the problem.
