My airpods does not appear in my devices in my apple id

I just bought my airpods and want to add them as my devices into my apple id so the guarantee is registered and I'm able to find them using find my phone.

Your AirPods will appear in the Find My iPhone app, but they won't appear in your Apple ID device list. You can remove your AirPods from your account using Find My iPhone.
