How do I retrieve my son's Apple ID password and two-factor authentication if we already forgot them?

What about 2 Factor Authentication did you forget? You should be sent a code to a trusted device.

Enter the Apple (iCloud) ID and click Forgot Password.

You likely need to speak with account security directly for ideas on recovering your son's account.
