software for scanner

Hi. I am trying to use my scanner and it's telling me I need software

I have a Canon LiDE 220 and I need software.

I went to the Apple website and it said there was none

Here is the page from Canon that has their full driver software that is compatible with macOS Mojave:

Scanned images should get saved into your home folder into the ~/Pictures directory.


If you open Finder you can click on Pictures on your Favorites sidebar.


You may need to turn on Sidebar by going into Finder, and select View menu:


If you have your Favorites sidebar, but it does not include "Pictures" you can go to Finder menu, Select Preferences then click Sidebar tab and make sure you have selected to show Pictures in the sidebar:

so, I got everything taken care of as far as getting the driver/software
put on my computer. However, I have scanned a page and I cannot get it
to move off of the scanner! I need to print it (and many other items
that I need to scan and print) asap. Can anyone help me with this
problem??
