Bought a Homepod in US, Can I use it in areas with 220V? I have seen the tech specs where it clearly states the line voltage is 100-240V but on the homepod's cable it states 2.5A 125V, so I am not sure whether to plug it in or not into 220v.
Any clarification would be appreciated.
You can use it anywhere in the world that as a voltage in the range 100-240V and runs at 50 to 60 Hz. With a higher voltage the current goes down for the same power, reducing the heating in the cable.

cables are just copper wires encapsulated in plastic, some countries legal systems require the max watt the cable is safe to draw to be labeled and as few people understand watt it's labeled Watt = Volt / Amps
in this case a maximum of 312.5 Watt
