Raise to wake

Probably because they didn’t imagine many people laying their ipads face down.

There is the auto lock/unlock under the settings, display, where when you open a case it wakes the screen. That’s the closest I’ve seen on my ipad. My experience with mine is, even though it ways lock/unlock that really means to turn the screen on/off since I have a passcode on my ipad.
