Try unpairing them from your iPhone, then put your iPhone on airplane mode then pairing to you watch alone (make sure turning airplane mode on your iPhone doesn't turn airplane mode on the watch).

Your problem needs more detail before we can try to guess helpful advice. Please describe what you do, and what you see with your eyes when you try to pair the equipment. It would alo be useful to know make and model of the earbuds, watch model and WatchOS software version, etc...

I have new IKANZI bluetooth earbuds and they connect with my iphone but not with my iwatch. It keeps saying make sure the X9 is in range and they are right next to it. It keeps picking up my phone so i turned the bluetooth off the phone and that didn't help either. I am a runner and need to have the buds with the watch as the phone is too big and bulky

same reply "make sure X9 is turned on and in range and they are their in my ears and they say right device on/left device on and after no connection it will finally disconnect.
I turned off airplane mode on phone and got rid of the device in bluetooth and made sure airplane mode was not off on watch.
