My iPhone SE keeps asking me to “Update my ID”
this is is what I see in settings.....
This is what I see when I tap on it......
Problem I’ve got is it won’t verify.
I’ve tried changing passwords, done hard reboots, even cleared the cache.
But it still won’t go away or accept the password.
can anyone help???

UPDATE: just had it appear on my iPad2017 as well, cleared first time, now even more confused 😐

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.
Try a forced restart.
Have you closed the Settings app via the phone's taskbar and rebooted ?
Tried different WiFi, different hotspots (I also have a 5c) even 4G, no difference 😕
also done multiple forced restarts (taking it you mean holding the power and master buttons till the Apple logo appears)
Sits like this for ages but it still comes up with pop up that says verification failed ☹️

I’m not having any probs in any app, the password request is in settings as it shows in my first post. 🤔

Does it work on your computer's iTunes ? And have you tried logging out, closing the app via the phone's taskbar, and rebooting ?
