Friends photos uploading to my device after signing them out

I had my friend temporarily login to my iPad with their Apple ID. However after signing them out and signing myself back in, their photos are uploading into my library.

1. Would they also have access to my photos?

2. What is the best way to remove the photos? I’m guessing restoring a backup, but I just want to make sure.

3. Is there other personal information that I will need to remove.

  1. If they are signed out, they shouldn't have access to your photos; however, while they were signed in to iCloud, some/all of your photos may have uploaded to their iCloud where they would have access to them.
  2. If you are syncing photos to iCloud, photos aren't part of your backup. You will need to manually delete them.
  3. Check any apps that you are syncing to iCloud such as Contacts, Calendars.....
