I cannot sync podcasts on to my Apple Watch 3. My watch is on the charger and my phone is sitting next to it. I am connected to bluetooth. I have tried unpairing my watch from my phone and starting over and it's still not working. Does anybody have any advice on anything else I can try before going to the Apple Store?

If not, a trip to the Apple Store, as you mentioned might be in order. Good luck.
FYI: There are other Apple Watch/iPhone Podcast apps that give you greater control over what podcast sync, and some will sync without needing to be on the charger.
Just use the iPhone "Watch" app and search the app store for "podcast"
