Apple Watch series 4 battery draining

I bought a new Apple Watch series 4, 5 days ago. The battery is lasting only 12 hrs before I get the 10% warning. I don’t use the watch very much during the day..just to glance at it when notifications come through. Any suggestions or advice? My series 1 battery was better!
