Nike Run Club watch app problems

Premising by saying that i have already installed and reinstalled and that I have the latest versions of watch and app, so....

Why do I continue to lose my run data as I am stopping/finishing the run on Apple Watch NRC app? I stop running and hear, "pausing workout." I hit the stop button and the app freezes, then reboots itself - RUN LOST. NRC iPhone app doesn't pick it up, obviously. So frustrating!

There has to be a better way! Please help!
