I have only one payment method in my Apple ID and it is used as default. The credit card has expired in the system and I no longer have. The credit card was changed and I do not know the CVV #. .The system will not allow me to remove it nor will it allow me to add a new payment method. How do I add a new method of payment?

Obtain the CVV number (and any other missing information) from the financial institution that issued the card.
Going to http://appleid.apple.com solved my problem. I was able to enter my new information.
