iPad disabled

iPad is disabled says connect to iTunes on my computer.

itunes wants access to the iPad but it’s disabled.

how do I connect to iTunes then?

Try recovery mode, see the 'remove your passcode' section on : If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
