Two factor authentication

My iPhone won’t let me text people on iMessage and I don’t know the password to my Apple ID account but the two factor authucation is on. I don’t know what to do.

I can not get text messages for Two Factor Authentication. I can get text messages in general but when it comes to Two Factor Authentication, I never get the CODE sent to my phone and I don't know why.

iMessage reactivation on iPad I deactivated iMessages on my iPad. Will it ask for two factor authentication code if I reactive? (i.e. sign in with my Apple ID to activate iMessage) It is a shared device and I want to know if the authentication code will go to all devices.

not getting texts for 2 factor authentication, I did before, but suddenly I don't I get my regular texts. But suddenly the texts for 2 factor authentication from banks, etc are just not coming through on my phone or IPad . Although Apple' s do. I tried the suggestion of making sure my devices are listed in my Apple account and they are. So that was no help. This is so frustrating- I've turned the phone on and off, taken off all of my blocked numbers except for 1 that I am sure is not a bank or anyone that would send me the 2 factor texts. Any ideas??? Both my IPad and Iphone are unable to receive these 2 factor texts.

You have to recover your Apple ID password first.

If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

And then Contact Support
