Ok so I’m trying to put my SIM card in this phone and I put it in and it says something like “this sim carrier doesn’t support this contact such and such” so I want to be able to use this phone with my carrier how do I go about that?

You need to contact the carrier the phone is currently locked to and request it be unlocked.
