Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

I can not send or receive Email since updating to Majave

Has anyone else had an issue where you can not send or receive email on mac since updating to Mojave? When I check the connection Doctor I keep getting the messages that ”could not connect to the IMP and SMTP.

Does anyone know how to fix this??

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14

go to system preferences.. check to see if a profile exists, if there is one, and you don’t recognize it.. remove it.


then.. go to network > advanced > proxies


if SOCKS proxy is enabled ....


boot into safe mode (hold shift when restarting)


uncheck that proxy, create a new network location


now.. run a malwarebytes scan.


restart your Mac.


scan again.


now.. go back to your email app.. take accounts offline, then online again.


last but not least.. if you see a pop up advising you to update adobe flash... disregard!
