I tunes has not recognized my current credit card on my Apple ID account

How can I get I Tunes to use my current credit card for my music purchases. I have gone into manage my I Tunes and tried to remove the "default" credit card that is no longer valid & has been replaced by Visa due to possibility of fraud on my account. But will not allow any changes or removal to add this current credit card. I assumed that my current credit card on fill in my Apple ID profile was also applicable to my I Tunes account? or am I mistaken? Please help me fix this problem

How/where did you add the new card ?


Try adding the new card and removing the old one via https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage


If that also doesn't work contact iTunes Support and see if they can help you do it :  http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww  (click on your country's flag, the country where you live, and which is therefore the country on the account ; click on Contact Support towards the top right ; click on Get Help under 'Talk To Us’)
