Smart mailboxes have moved to top of Mail viewer - can't move them down again!

For some reason that I do not understand,, all my smart mailboxes have suddenly moved to the top of my mail viewer window. I have tried to move them back down the list to their previous position below several of my normal mailboxes. However, they refuse to move.

How can I get them back to their previous position, which was considerably more convenient for me?
