Time Machine for each user?

I recently installed Time Machine on my iMac, and I can see that it made the initial backup, but only for one user (myself). I also noticed that the Time Machine icon is visible in the top ribbon on my screen, but only when I'm logged in—not when the other user is logged in. How can I get Time Machine to backup the other user as well?
