2018 Mac Mini 4K Display is fuzzy

I am on a 2018 Mac Mini running Mojave connected to the Monoprice 32" monitor using thunderbolt to HDMI cable. My display is very blurry and do not see any option to adjust that, unless I use a non-4k resolution and see everything as giant icons/fonts. I tried using a HDMI to HDMI 4k cable with the same results. Any idea how this can be resolved?
