How do I connect the Samsung Gear Fit 1 to an iPhone running iOS 12?

I wanted to see if I would enjoy having a smartwatch, but I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on something that I potentially may not use enough to justify spending that amount of money. I understand that most places have a 30-day return policy but that is just barely enough time to understand if I'd want to keep it longer or not.

To test this, I wanted to see if I could pair my old Samsung Gear Fit (first-generation) to my iPhone (running iOS 12.4) and just use it for a while. If I like it, I buy an Apple Watch; if I don't like it, I sell/donate it. The only applications I can find to pair Samsung Watches to the iPhone are Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Fit, but the most legacy watch either supports is the Samsung Gear Fit 2. I tried finding Gear Manager (the application I used to use when I had a Samsung device) anywhere, even as a third-party installer, but I had no luck finding one.

So, I just wanted to ask if anyone knows how to pair the Samsung Gear Fit 1 to an iPhone running iOS 12?
