Using Apple TV with network switch that is connected to Google WiFi

I also have my Onkyo receiver connected via Wi-Fi to the mesh network. I use the receiver's Wi-Fi for internet radio and Pandora for now. I use 3 of the Google Mesh "pucks" to cover my whole house, how many do you have and have you checked the coverage using your Google app on your smart phone?

If you need to connect your reciever and Apple TV to your Mesh network via Ethernet get another Google Mesh puck, each puck has 2 Ethernet ports 1 for the Apple TV the other for the receiver.

If your mesh network is set up correctly and your Apple TV is in the vicinity there is ZERO advantage to having the Apple TV connected to the switch. Simply have the mesh network connected to your cable modem and then have one of the Google mesh "pods" in the vicinity of the Apple TV and setup the Apple TV to discover the network that comes into your home.

I have the same Google Mesh network and have no less than 4 Apple TVs (not to mention 3 Macs, 2 iPhones, 3 iPads, 3 smart TVs, a NEST and a variety of other Wi-Fi devices) connected to the Google Mesh network and ALL of the devices connect and work perfectly.

Yes it would and it would mean no need for a switch which at best would be 1/2 duplex. This is critical if you intend to watch any 4K content.
