Bose fails us by not having separate volume for each ear

Name me one person over 50 who has identical hearing in each ear. It is inconceivable to me that we can’t adjust volume to how we actually hear. I spent over $300.00 US and the headphones are worthless to me. I feel the Apple salesperson should have warned me especially after I mentioned I had poor hearing in one ear. Both Bose and Apple failed me.
