Where is my scanner?

I have an Epson XP-440 printer/scanner/copier that prints fine. But I don't see the scanner in my System Preferences.

I am able to launch the scan utility, but there's nothing there that allows me to install the scanner.

Curiously, I am able to scan if I use the buttons on the front of the device. But I would prefer to scan from my Macbook Pro.

Any suggestions?

Try using Image Capture.

The AIO appears to be connected via IP. Perhaps the scanner won't work over IP connection.

That device doesn't appear to have an ICA compatible driver, so I believe you will need to use the Epson Print & Scan utility to scan.
