Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
So I’m still new to this whole idea of having an iPhone as I switched over from Samsung, but I wanted to ask why the mute/ silencer won’t turn off the annoying camera noise every time I take a snap on Snapchat. I have searched through settings, deleted and downloaded Snapchat again, and have restarted the phone. It works for the regular camera app but just now Snapchat.
If the mute switch on the side of the phone works for the built in camera app, I would assume that the issue is with the Snapchat app. I don't use Snapchat, but have you looked at the settings for the app or checked with app support?
It was working last night and now it doesn’t work anymore, so I’m assuming it’s with the camera app itself. Another thing is that the model number has the j in it so it’s for the Japanese, but would their be anyway to change that without jail breaking it

The shutter sound can't be silenced on device made for sale in some countries (e.g Japan).
So there’s really nothing I can do about it than I’m guessing, would you know if apple could some how fix this? Like somehow reboot the programming st the apple store
Not worth the time or expense in my opinion.
I learned my lessons with eBay now, bought it newly sealed and I’m trying to reason with the seller now, I have time it being summer. They should’ve displayed that information but they hadn’t.
What is the model number? I can use it to look up where the device was made.
I wouldn't buy from eBay using your money let alone my own.
