My iPad never get iOS updates

My iPad is only at iOS 10! How do I get iOS 11?

If your iPad is iPad 4 (highly likely since you are stuck at iOS 10.3.3), you can't get a higher level as your device is simply not capable of running the newer 64 bit architecture required for the newer levels. As Lyssa suggests, if you need the newer iOS level, you need a newer iPad.


As a point of reference, the iPad 4th generation was released in September 2012, which was 7 years ago. It served its life really well, but technology continues to advance as you're more than likely aware.
