Mojave can still run previous 32-bit (Office 2008/2011 for Mac) and 64-bit MS Office Suites, though the only ones that Microsoft has tested and continues to support on Mojave is the Office365 subscription (currently Office 2016 for Mac), and the single-purchase Office 2016 and Office 2019 for Mac. The 32-bit Office suites have been retired since Fall 2017, or earlier.

If you are leaning toward subscription, then the Microsoft Office365 applications are in the Mac App Store. If you prefer a single-purchase, then the strategic decision would be to purchase Office 2019 for Mac, as MIcrosoft has announced that they will be retiring Office 2016 for Mac in Fall 2020.

There are no individual Microsoft applications available, just the full suite.
